What You Will Experience
Jaipur’s wholesale vegetable market at 6 AM is one of those places that reminds you how much of a city’s real life happens before most people wake up. Trucks that arrived through the night are being unloaded. Buyers move quickly through stalls piled with tomatoes, cauliflowers, spinach, and green chillis. Vendors call prices. Porters carry loaded baskets balanced on their heads.
Your rickshaw moves slowly through all of it. Nobody is performing for tourists here — this is simply trade, happening the way it has happened every morning for decades.
After the market, your driver turns into the narrow lanes of the walled city. At this hour they belong entirely to the people who live there. Residents walk to work, a milkman makes his rounds, the first temple bells of the morning start to ring.

We offer two slots — early morning (around 6:00 AM) and evening (8:00 to 10:00 PM). The morning slot gives you the vegetable market at full swing and the old city at its quietest. The evening slot gives you the lit-up Pink City gates, cooler temperatures, and the old city winding down after a busy day. Both are excellent — it depends entirely on your preference. A standard cycle rickshaw comfortably seats 2 adults. For groups of 3 or 4, we arrange two rickshaws side by side. Please let us know your group size when booking so we can organise accordingly.
